about the instructor


Growing up, I remember the anticipation, excitement and nervousness in preparing for New England Piano Teachers’ Association (NEPTA) student recitals. It’s now quite satisfying to be a teacher in the audience complimenting today’s young performers and having served as President of that same organization.

Lydia’s affiliation with other national and international music organizations includes the Royal Conservatory of Music Program, where she is an examiner and certified teacher at the elementary, intermediate and advanced levels, MTNA and the National Piano Guild. Locally she is also a member CAMSA, Concord Area Music Schools Association, serving Concord, Lexington, Arlington and surrounding communities.
